- Type a name, an exhibit number, or any phrase. Every hit in the transcript becomes a timestamp — click it and the video jumps straight there, transcript and all.
- Chapters over the timeline
- Mark the moments that matter — each witness, exhibits entered, objections, the topics you choose — and they sit right on the scrubber. We can suggest chapters automatically; you stay in control of what becomes official.

The court reporter’s transcript stays the authoritative record. We time-align the words that were typed — we don’t let AI rewrite or replace them. Doing this on a platform built for the record is the whole point.

Do you record the deposition?
No. ActiveDepo doesn’t record — you bring your own gear. It takes over the moment you have the file: secure per-recipient delivery, an activity log, and litigation-length retention.
How is this different from a Dropbox or ShareFile link?
Each recipient gets their own unguessable link — not one URL anyone can forward — with optional email or password gates. Every invite, view, and download lands in an append-only activity log, and a SHA-256 fingerprint is captured on each file. You can revoke a link any time without losing the history.
Does the firm need an account?
No. Recipients open a secure link and, if you turn it on, pass a quick email or password check. No login, no install — they stream the video right in the browser.
How long are files kept?
The default link lifetime is five years, configurable per recipient, to match how long litigation actually runs. When a firm comes back years later, the files are still there.
Can I revoke access after I’ve sent a link?
Yes — any time. Revoking cuts off access immediately while preserving the full activity history for that recipient.
When does it launch, and what does the waitlist get me?
